nair

I wanted to try something to have silky smooth legs for my trip. So I thought I’d give this, Nair Silky Sensations a try. I remember using Nair when I was about 14—just an experiement with one of my friends. It was not a pleasant experience, but I thought hey, it’s been a while, maybe Nair has improved.

Pros:

  • It worked, my legs were smooth, even my knees which are my ‘problem area’

Cons:

  • It REAKS. I think this is just an unavoidable fact when it comes to these hair removers. My husband was NOT happy about the smell when he came home. Oops.
  • It burns. Nothing unbearable, but definitely uncomfortable. I didn’t experience this until afterwards.
  • I did have to shave the next day to get some hair that it didn’t remove, this could be because I didn’t apply it heavily enough or leave it on long enough. But my legs were definitely a lot smoother than normal.

My conclusion?

I would NOT use this everyday, or even on a regular basis, but for the ocasional vacation, or if you have a ‘hot date’ (wink wink) it’s a good thing to use. *Note: If you DO have a hot date, make sure to do this the day before or so, you don’t want to smell like Nair. :)
